Seeding our first Pasture
This weekend we decided to seed our first pasture that was ready for seeding. I knew the rain was coming later this week and wanted to get the field cleared and seeded so the rain would let the seeds set.
I should have taken before and after pictures, but I didn't so you can complain to me about that and I will do
it next time. I do have a couple pictures of me clearing and tilling the field into lush black soil.
After the entire field was cleared from all greenage, which took over 5 hours, I illicited some help from some cuties that had stopped by the farm.
Savannah and Hunters job was to throw the pasture seed out from the back of the John Deere gator as they were driven around in circles by their mom. I could have used my seed spreader on the tractor, but this way was much cuter! I mean how can you not want this help!

Just wanted to post a few pictures of the pasture from about a month later. Look at all the green grass!
