Piglets, Piglets, and more Piglets....

As most of you already know, we had two litters of piglets from Piglet and Tough Mama over the christmas break. Piglet gave birth in the open pasture to a total of 9 piglets, but unfortunately 3 of them did not make it and only 6 survived. You can see the six all feeding with mama Piglet below.

And then a week later, Tough Mama decided that Piglet was not going to get all the attention and went ahead and had her massive litter of piglets. Tough Mama gave birth to 11 piglets in her first litter!! And all 11 survived!! Check out the day old piglets below! Aren't they cute!!

Talk about a pile o' pigs!

Just remember when you think you have had a rough day with your kids (however many you have), remember it could be worse. Just look at Tough Mama's face as her 11 piglets all surround her and annoy her to death.
