The
Lucky Buckles Farm
The History of the Lucky Buckles Ranch
The Lucky Buckles Ranch was founded in 2013 when two Buckles brothers decided to move from Clearwater, Florida where they were born and raised to the farm life of Plant City, Florida.
The propery was originally a 100 acre Cattle farm back in it's days but the property had been unmanaged for many many years. The 100 acres has been divided up over the years into 5 20 acre parcels and we bought the last 20 acre parcel from the original family.
We moved out to the Plant City property with our two dogs, Ari and Lexi and 5 chickens which are all named Rachael because we cannot tell them apart. After making several repairs and additions to the fence lines and clearing some major debris, we have slowly started to increase the animal count on the farm.
As of today (January 2017) we have 2 dogs (Ari, and Lexi), 25 egg laying chickens of various breeds, 3 Emden Geese, 10 Peeking Ducks, 10 Nigerian Dwarf Goats, 22 Pigs, and 13 Cows.
